The Next Generation Ultra-Low-Carbon
Premium Recycled Aluminum Alloy for HPDC
As part of PSW’s and Trialco Aluminum’s commitment to sustainable innovation, we are proud to introduce VerdeALTM — an ultra-low-carbon, high-performance aluminum alloy developed to support the future of green manufacturing.
VerdeAL represents a major step forward — not just in alloy development, but in accelerating the circular economy and driving real impact in carbon reduction.
THE CREATION
VerdeALTM is the result of years of research and development, combining our green metal production assets with advanced alloy design technology to create a product that meets the demands of both performance and planet.
Our decarbonization journey began by rethinking the way aluminum is sourced and processed. Through closed-loop recycling, AI-enhanced scrap selection, and advanced metal treatment techniques, we’ve maximized the use of low-carbon recycled material without compromising quality. Building on that foundation, we applied Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) to design new, optimized alloy chemistries specifically for high-pressure die casting (HPDC) structural applications.

#Premium Metal Performance
Despite its ultra-low carbon footprint, VerdeAL delivers castability and mechanical performance fully comparable to conventional alloys, with notably enhanced consistency across batches.
All major HPDC alloy grades under the VerdeAL product line have been rigorously qualified through in-house validation. Each chemistry was cast using PSW’s dedicated 400t HPDC machine to assess casting behavior, followed by extensive mechanical testing to verify tensile properties and consistencies. The results confirm that VerdeAL meets the demanding requirements of structural die casting while advancing material sustainability.

#Traceable Sustainability

Each batch of VerdeAL will be accompanied by a standard Certificate of Analysis issued by Trialco Aluminum, now enhanced with verified carbon footprint and recycled content data supported by a trusted third-party platform.
This added transparency allows customers—and their customers—to access reliable, batch-specific insights on carbon intensity and recycling rates, providing full traceability and provenance across the material’s lifecycle.
With VerdeAL, PSW and Trialco is setting a new industry standard for responsible sourcing, accountability, and sustainable innovation.
